A pilot tree-planting and community leadership initiative — a new activity that will not divert significant resources from core survivor support.

  • Engage injured fighters and volunteers in planning and local coordination
  • Confirm the site, species, permissions, and maintenance partner before planting
  • Start at pilot scale and expand only after survival and maintenance can be demonstrated
  • Over time, each volunteer builds leadership experience through this community organizing
  • Coordinate with relevant ministries (Environment, Forest & Climate Change; Social Welfare) and the Forest Department’s Social Forestry Programme
